InnoLab Asia has officially signed a Strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Western Australia Vietnam Business Council (WAVBC), marking an important milestone in advancing bilateral collaboration between Vietnam and Western Australia across trade, investment, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
This partnership reflects a shared vision to build long-term, sustainable economic and innovation linkages between the two regions by enabling market access, strengthening business capabilities, and fostering meaningful connections among enterprises, startups, investors, and key ecosystem stakeholders.
Driving Practical Collaboration Across Two Dynamic Ecosystems
Under the MOU, InnoLab Asia and WAVBC will work closely to develop and deliver joint initiatives that support two-way trade and investment, facilitate cross-border innovation, and accelerate market expansion opportunities for businesses operating in and between Vietnam and Western Australia.
Key areas of collaboration include:
- Promoting and supporting each other’s programs, activities, and initiatives in Vietnam and Western Australia
- Facilitating bilateral trade, investment, and innovation opportunities for enterprises and startups
- Enabling knowledge exchange, business matching, and joint program development
- Maintaining ongoing engagement through quarterly online updates and annual in-person meetings in Ho Chi Minh City and Perth

The partnership will focus on identifying and implementing mutually beneficial initiatives that support entrepreneurship, encourage innovation-driven growth, and enhance connectivity between the Vietnam and Western Australia business ecosystems.
The MOU is effective until 31 August 2028, with the option for renewal by mutual agreement.
