CrowdPitch brought the private pitching event – ASEAN Startup Pitching Battle on 21st May
2020.ย ย Itโs a public pitching event for SEAโs startups that links well-established angel investors and corporations to innovative startups with real growth potential. The 5-selected startups will be given the opportunity to compete to be the winner at the pitching competition. Startups battle to secure the attention of angel investors and win a spot at Vietnam Innovation Summit 2021.

Mdm. Nguyen Phi Van has over 20 years as a senior executive in brand, retail, and franchise development across global emerging markets in Asia, The Middle East, Africa, and Eastern Europe. She is a board advisor at the Asia Pacific Chief Marketing Officer Council (CMO), advisor to the Ministry of Science and Technology of Vietnam on startup & innovation, chairwoman of Vietnam Business Angel Network, chairwoman of Open Innovation Vietnam.

At HKSTP, Mr. Peter heads Hong Kongโs largest Innovation and Technology startup ecosystem which incubatees and accelerates 300+ technology startups that span 4 technology areas and 8 industry verticals. He has extensive experience in sales and marketing of technology products, corporate merger and acquisition, venture capital investment and C-Level executive recruitment. Mr. Peter is one of Directors and also
responsible for the secretariat office of the Hong Kong Business Angel Network.

Market Engagement Lead – Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC)
Ms Serena has experience in Market Specialist with a demonstrated history of working in the information technology and services industry. She develops and implements the market access program for Malaysian based tech startups to penetrate into other Southeast Asian countries and markets. Ms Serena engages with local and regional corporates for business matching and increases collaboration between startups and corporates.
