After consideration of the situation of Covid-19, Crowpitch Vietnam has officially run an on-site event with the topic FinTech & PropTech CrowdPitch Vietnam 2020 with 3 startups: VATNOW, Movi Vietnam, Pihomes.vn.
With the topic FinTech & PropTech CrowdPitch Vietnam 2020, the judging panel includes Mr. Truc Tran, Mr. Phuc Nguyen, and Mr. Cong-Thang HUYNH who have extensive experience in working with startups and have made tremendous contributions to supporting the startup ecosystem in Vietnam.
MR TRUC TRAN – Investment Associate – ESP Capital
Before that, Mr. Truc worked for four years in the banking industry in Vietnam.
Mr. Truc received his bachelor’s degree in Finance and Banking from Banking University, Vietnam. Later, he got his MBA degree from Raymond A. Mason School of Business, the College of William and Mary in the United States.
MR PHUC NGUYEN – Senior Program Manager – VIISA
Mr. Phuc has many years of experience in banking and finance working for reputed financial institutions locally and internationally. He also has over 3 years of experience in the startup Ecosystem. From 2016 to 2019, he was the Director of the Accelerator Program of Startup Vietnam Foundation, the first and only fully licensed Non-Profit Organization in Vietnam. Currently, he is the Senior Program Manager of VIISA, a USD6M joint venture accelerator and investment firm by FPT Ventures and Dragon Capital. This position holds the responsibility of building Global Startups from Vietnam from 2019 onwards.
MR CONG-THANG HUYNH – Co-founder & CEO Innolab – Asia
Mr. Thang is an entrepreneur from Vietnam who has influence startup, innovation in ASEAN especially Singapore, Taiwan, Korea, Malaysia, and Chile. He is co-founder & CEO at InnoLab Asia, the implementation partner of Open Innovation Vietnam initiative from the Vietnam Ministry of Science and Technology for Open Innovation and Innovation in Vietnam and South East Asia. Thang is also a mentor at Start-Up Chile, an initiative of the Chilean Government to attract early-stage, high potential entrepreneurs bootstrap their startups using Chile as a platform to go global.
And we are also happy to welcome many Angel investors to attend the event to share your valuable insights and expand your startup network.
