InnoLab Asia’s Japan Mission: Building Bridges and Forging an “Innovation Corridor” from Tokyo to Fukuoka
From October 5th to 10th, 2025, InnoLab Asia embarked on a strategic mission to Japan, marking a significant milestone in our “Go Global” initiative. This endeavor was designed to bridge Vietnamese startups with the global stage and foster deep connections with one of Asia’s leading innovation ecosystems. The journey, spanning from the corporate heart of Tokyo to the rising startup hub of Fukuoka, was a dedicated effort to build sustainable partnerships, gain in-depth market intelligence, and solidify Vietnam’s position on the regional technology map.
Tokyo (October 5-7): Forging Strategic Alliances
Our mission began in Tokyo with a high-level agenda focused on establishing a foundation for strategic collaborations and gathering expert market insights.
- Technology & Investment Dialogues: We held productive meetings with leading partners in the Drone and Investment sectors, exploring potential collaborations in advanced technology and capital flow for Vietnamese startups.
- Engagements with Key Institutions: The trip was highlighted by pivotal meetings with the Mitsubishi Research Institute (MRI) to gain macroeconomic insights and market analysis, alongside a visit to the Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE) Headquarters to deepen our understanding of the financial ecosystem and opportunities for scaling companies.

- Expanding Leadership Networks: We engaged with leaders from the Asia Leaders Association, strengthening our network and promoting collaboration at a regional level.
- An Exclusive Networking Evening: Concluding our activities in Tokyo, InnoLab Asia co-hosted the “Vietnam Startup Meet & Connect” with our partner, 01Booster. This intimate event facilitated in-depth dialogue, directly connecting the Vietnamese startup ecosystem with Japanese investors and corporations.

Fukuoka (October 7-10): Expanding Influence in a Rising Startup Hub
After achieving our objectives in Tokyo, the delegation traveled to Fukuoka on October 7th to continue our mission in one of Asia’s most dynamic startup cities.
- Making an Impact at Ramen Tech 2025: At the prestigious Ramen Tech 2025 conference (Oct 8-9), InnoLab Asia commanded a strong presence with a dedicated booth showcasing the Vietnamese startup ecosystem. The highlight was the “Connecting Startup Ecosystems” panel, where our Chairman, Cong-Thang HUYNH, articulated our vision for an “Asian Innovation Corridor.”

- A Resounding Success at Vietnam Night Vol. 2: The mission culminated on the evening of October 9th with Vietnam Night Vol. 2, an event co-organized with our strategic partner, CIC Fukuoka. It provided a premier showcase for leading Vietnamese startups like Eletus.inc and BlueBolt to present directly to Japanese investors and enterprises.

Looking Ahead: The Bridges Have Been Built
This journey from Tokyo to Fukuoka was not merely a series of events; it was the execution of InnoLab Asia’s strategy in action. We returned with strengthened partnerships, a deeper understanding of the Japanese market, and a firm conviction that the “Asian Innovation Corridor” is becoming a reality.
The bridges have been built. Now, it is time for us to walk across them together.
