As part of the official series of events under Vietnam Day 2025 in Switzerland, InnoLab Asia proudly participated as a strategic partner of the Swiss–Viet Economic Forum (SVEF) 2025, held in Zurich. The forum brought together over 200 distinguished guests, including policymakers, investors, business leaders, and academics from both countries, to explore evolving partnerships and future collaboration across innovation, trade, and sustainable growth.

At the event, InnoLab Asia officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Swiss–Viet Economic Forum (SVEF), reaffirming a shared commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation in startup ecosystem development, investment promotion, and technology exchange.

Representing InnoLab Asia, Mr. Huynh Cong Thang, Chairman & CEO, served as a panelist at the forum and also led the Vietnamese innovation delegation to Switzerland, which included representatives from venture capital firms, law firms, academic institutions, and tech hubs. His participation signaled Vietnam’s strategic intent to deepen cross-border innovation partnerships with Europe.

“Vietnam and Switzerland share more than just economic ties — we share values around sustainability, innovation, and inclusive growth,” said Mr. Thang. “This MOU and our presence at SVEF mark a meaningful step forward in turning those shared values into tangible outcomes.”
Under the theme “Evolving Partnerships and Future Perspectives between Switzerland, Viet Nam and Beyond – Building a Resilient, Connected and Innovative Economy Together,” the forum featured impactful dialogue across topics such as:
- Technology and innovation transfer
- Education and research cooperation
- Legal frameworks for startup scaling and investment
- Financial access and digital transformation for SMEs

SVEF 2025 was held in coordination with Vietnam Day 2025 in Switzerland, an official national-level event supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Viet Nam, the Embassy of Viet Nam in Switzerland (H.E. Ambassador Phung The Long), and the Embassy of Switzerland in Viet Nam (H.E. Ambassador Thomas Gass). The broader agenda of Vietnam Day included cultural exchanges, economic forums, and high-level networking sessions aimed at turning diplomatic dialogue into real-world collaboration.
A highlight of the forum was the presence and leadership of Dr. Philipp Rösler, President of SVEF and former Vice Chancellor of Germany, along with Mr. Ivo Sieber, Vice President of SVEF. Their continued dedication to Swiss–Vietnamese relations has helped pave the way for deeper, more impactful cooperation between the two innovation-driven economies.
Looking ahead, InnoLab Asia will host the Swiss investor delegation, led by Dr. Rösler, at the Vietnam Innovation Summit 2025 on November 6–7 in Ho Chi Minh City.
