EDTECH STARTUPS IN VIETNAM: FUELING SE ASIA’S GROWTH IN LEARNING INNOVATION

This webinar will feature insights into the current state of the EdTech market in Vietnam as relevant to early-stage startups and the role of innovation and entrepreneurship in the education system and talent pool.

 

These three leading experts in the realm of EdTech operations and investment will share their experiences building companies and investing in the Vietnamese EdTech market and potential opportunities for this rapidly evolving nation.

Ms. Tram Ho – KYNA. Ms. Tram Ho leads one of Vietnam’s most promising EdTech companies Kyna, an all-age e-learning solution platform with over half million users. Its products include Kyna.vn, an online short courses in different topics for adults and Kynaforkids, an online courses for children from age 5 to 12 years old.

Ms. Hoang Thi Kim Dzung – Genesia Ventures. Ms. Hoang Thi Kim Dzung leads Genesia’s venture capital efforts for the Vietnamese market where she has a keen interest in investing and supporting the EdTech sector.

Ms. Quynh Vo – Zones Startup Vietnam. Ms. Quynh Vo leads business development and growth strategy for Zones Startup in Saigon, one of Vietnam’s early-stage startup ecosystem drivers.

They have shared about the core issues in education that have yet to be addressed through innovative solutions in the Vietnamese context and the potential for Vietnamese EdTech startups positioned for regional growth. Moreover, our speakers have discussed the adaptation of Vietnamese startups to the current trend towards online education at all levels. We understand that innovative EdTech solutions in Vietnam are thriving and having an impact as a direct result of the current pandemic of COVID-19. Lectures and students have a good opportunity to teach and learn. The barriers to entry and success for education startups in Vietnam have been discussed by our speakers.
